{"id":151,"date":"2022-10-23T22:46:12","date_gmt":"2022-10-23T22:46:12","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mattisch.com\/?page_id=151"},"modified":"2026-01-22T20:46:49","modified_gmt":"2026-01-22T20:46:49","slug":"anne-ischs-sausage-balls","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"http:\/\/mattisch.com\/index.php\/anne-ischs-sausage-balls\/","title":{"rendered":"Anne Isch&#8217;s Sausage Balls"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>I&#8217;ve always thought of this as the ultimate party food until I took some to a party and the hostess referred to them as &#8220;those redneck sausage things.&#8221; (You know who you are.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Ingredients<br><br><\/strong>&nbsp;3 cups Bisquick<br>&nbsp;1 pound pork sausage (hot) I usually get the Jimmy Dean.<br>&nbsp;1 10-ounce package of Sharp Cracker Barrel cheese<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Instructions<br><br><\/strong>Put Bisquick in mixer on &#8220;Low&#8221;. &nbsp;Add uncooked sausage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mix and slowly flake.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Grate cheese<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Add cheese to mixture. &nbsp;Mix well, using your hands.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Roll into balls.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Freeze on cookie sheet, then store in freezer bags.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cook frozen at 350 degrees until golden brown.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I&#8217;ve always thought of this as the ultimate party food until I took some to a party and the hostess referred to them as &#8220;those redneck sausage things.&#8221; (You know who you are.)
