Two years after this website was created in 1999, the attacks of 9/11/01 shocked and galvanized Americans. I said at the time that for as long as this site is in existence, the heroes of 9/11 would be remembered.

Finally in 2022, I was able to visit the 9/11 Memorial in Lower Manhattan and touch both the foundations of the towers and a piece of the fuselages that slammed into to the buildings. I was moved beyond anything.

If you ever get a chance to visit, please don’t pass it up.
